Trying to learn the language of Twitter?  Here are some of the Twitter terms :-

Followers         – People who follow your updates.

RT/Retweet      - Repeat a tweet from another user and give credit to that person.
(example. RT @justbloglah Check out my new post.)

Twaffic            - Twitter traffic.

Tweekend        – Spending your entire Saturday and Sunday reading and posting via Twitter.

Tweeple           – Twitter members, Twitter users.

Tweet              - A message or an update sent on Twitter.

Tweet(ing)       – The act of posting to Twitter.

Twewbie          - Someone new to Twitter.

Twitterverse    - The Twitter Universe.
