Twitter provides an easy way and fast way to communicate.


The other day, I was unable to access my site.  In order to find out whether this is due to web hosting problem and whether others with the same web host had the same problem, I tried to search it by using Twitter.


Twitter search is just amazing. From the search result, I noticed that others had sent out tweets and unable to access their sites too.


Immediately I sent out a tweet to the web hosting support team and received fast and friendly respond. I must admit that I am happy with the service provided by the support team.

Followers         – People who follow your updates.

RT/Retweet      - Repeat a tweet from another user and give credit to that person.

Tweekend        – Spending your entire Saturday and Sunday reading and posting via Twitter.

Tweeple           – Twitter members, Twitter users.

Tweet              - A message or an update sent on Twitter.

Tweet(ing)       – The act of posting to Twitter.

Twewbie          - Someone new to Twitter.

Twitterverse    - The Twitter Universe.

Twitter is a social networking and real time micro blogging service which is gaining in popularity.

Twitter enable its users to share interesting information, technology, jokes, photos, read latest news, to interact, job advertising, job hunting etc. Bloggers use Twitter to notify their followers the latest updates of their blog posts.

In case you don’t know. The most followed Twitter user as at the date of this post is Ashton Kutcher.  Oprah Winfrey and Ryan Seacrest are among the top 10 most followed Twitter users.
