Beautiful Seafood

CrabSeller
The colour and arrangement of the crabs and prawns managed to catch my attention. Very pretty and delicious.

Smile

Another sweet smile from this lady and her son.  A simple smile makes my day.

In A Rush

The guy is pushing a trolley towards Fangcun Pier to catch a ferry. The ferry is the cheapest way of crossing the Pearl river.

Building

Very beautiful historical building.  Residents sell food to attract tourist.

Shamian Island

A view of Shamian Island.

To Shamian Island, we took a ferry from Fangcun Pier to Huangsha Pier.  An interesting way of crossing the Pearl River.  Fangcun Pier is just in front of the hostel we stayed and the fare of the ferry is RMB0.50 for a foot passenger and RMB1.00 if you bring a bicycle.

Overloaded

Fascinated with the heavy load on these guys. One is cycling and another is pulling the bulky sacks from the front.

They are really amazing. Imagine the journey they have to go through everyday.

Wallpaper

Attracted by the colourful posters displayed on the front gate of some shops. Perfect place to take some photos.

Handmade Sesame Paste

The method of selling handmade sesame soup or sesame paste at Shangxiajiu pedestrian street is very interesting. You can watch how they grind and prepare the sesame paste. An effective way to promote business and attract customer.

Really lucky that I managed to capture some photos and video.

These two guys shout and sing and they have great voices. You can find new singing talent here. They shouted in Cantonese and Mandarin. Imagine they have to shout and sing everyday.

“Hand grinding sesame paste is the most delicious…..”. Watch the video here. Sure you will love it.

Smelly Bean Curd

Are you a fan of smelly bean curd? :)

Some might afraid to come near to the stall.  Here the kids queued for smelly bean curd after school.

Chinese Medicine

Sorting out dried seahorses.  This is one of the photos taken during a visit to Qingping Market, Guangzhou.

Qingping Chinese Traditional Medicine Market is just opposite Shamian Island. It has over 2000 stalls along 1 km long Qingping Lu and Ti Yun Lu. They sell various types of herbs, wild animals, dried seahorses, dried star fishes, snakes, scorpions, insects and many more.

Daily Costume

Interesting costume? He is selling traditional snack. You can find him at Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, Guangzhou.

Favourite Snack

Went for a walk and found this little girl enjoying sugar cane by the riverside.
