Too Expensive To Eat

HKFood

Mom was reluctant to eat anything during the first day in Hong Kong until bro found and happily picked up HKD 20 from a street.  You can see from the photo she was holding the money.

Mom said the food was too expensive. Poor mom.

Hmmmm…. weird, my bro kept seeing HKD on the floor? Twice in just two days!  The first time was at the Hong Kong airport but his reaction was too slow, somebody managed to pick it up first. Ha! Ha!

Street Names

Signs

Familiar with these street names? We visited Hong Kong last November.

We took MTR (Mass Transit Railway) to Jordan station and asked a policeman for direction.

With natural instinct, we found our accommodation.

Later that day, we met the same friendly policeman. He smiled shyly and apologized for showing us the wrong direction. :)

Back To School

Photo

Awesome view from our tram ride.

Travelling by tram or locally known as “Ding Ding” allowed us to view Hong Kong living culture.

What a great experience!

Christmas Eve

ChristmasEve1
Policemen were stationed at various parts of Orchard Road, Singapore during Christmas Eve.

Too crowded and you could barely walked. We squeezed through the crowd and left the place as fast as we could.

Secret Recipe

Shop1

I wonder if there is any extra table on the first floor of this shop. We noticed only one table and limited seats.

Poor guy on the left, insufficient space for his leg.

Check out the photo of the shop on the newspapers (hanging on the wall).

Casino Lisboa

Casino Lisboa

This is the photo of Casino Lisboa I took during my less than 1 day trip to Macau.  I noticed the man in the photo after the trip.

We were enjoying the landscape, the weather and the beauty of Macau not knowing a man on top of the famous Casino Lisboa.

Is he a bad guy? Is he a superhero? :)

Can You See Me?

StreetPhoto

Don’t know why….

Street photography is one of my favourite.

My brother was checking on his favourite shoes & I was busy shooting photos.

Macau Trip – Food

Food1

We arrived at the hotel in Macau at about 3pm. We had our first nice break from this nearby local coffee shop.

See the pork leg noodle? :)

Macau Trip

Macau
If you have travelled to Macau then you must have visited The Ruins of St. Paul’s, one of Macau’s most famous landmarks.

Walking along the street leading to this famous landmark, people from the shops located both side of the street will offer you some free food (Almond biscuits, dried meat etc) for testing.

On transportation, you can travel around Macau for free by just hopping on and off the shuttle buses operated by all major casinos and hotels. Interesting?

Walked along some of the streets to experience their local daily life and tried out their local food is the best thing ever.

The Senado Square or Largo do Senado is one of  Macau’s famous landmarks too.

Hmmm….we should have spent more time there.

The outdoor dining chairs are decorated with golden wheelchairs and there are operating room equipments too. Scary? Anybody have the dining experience at Aurum?  Any comment on the food?
