Singapore F1 – Fuel Pump drama
Singapore F1 is really interesting. If you have heart problem, please don’t watch it. Ha! i was watching the night race in front of my TV not from Marina Bay Singapore.
Ferrari team made a huge & terrible mistake during the pit stop. The fuel pump still attached to the car while Massa tried to get back to the main track. This is really sad as Massa took pole position during the qualifying session…..sad, realy sad.
Here are the photos of the fuel pump attached to the car and the Ferrari team members carried the fuel pump back from the car. I know the photos are not clear because i was in the hurry to capture these photos. I was not prepared at all. My favourite team lost…..Alonso wins the Singapore GP.
First Formula 1 Night Race In The World !!
From 26 to 28 September 2008, the world’s first F1 night race careens into Singapore.
Besides first F1 night race, this is the first Asian F1 street race & first race to use electronic flag displays to communicate with drivers. The race will be run in an anti-clockwise direction (to the direction of the roads) on a circuit that consists of 10 right hand turns and 14 left hand turns.
Special racing lights will make the tracks 4 times brighter than a typical stadium.

” SINGAPORE: The Formula 1 night race in Singapore is less than a month away and preparations for the race are heating up.
Workers are putting finishing touches to the F1 circuit.
Even the manhole covers along the race track have been changed to ensure the drivers’ safety. This is because the racing cars will move at a much faster speed than normal cars.
The new manhole covers are specially designed to prevent any rocking movement when cars go over them.
Custom-made in France, the covers are also used on the F1 circuit in Monaco.
To prepare the service sector for the race, the Singapore Tourism Board will be training some 2,000 service staff in the retail, entertainment and food and beverages industries, as well as places of interest on good customer service. – CNA/vm “ (Taken from Channel NewsAsia)
